  2. I have SO many!!! But the one I'm looking forward to is 'Terminated' by Rachel Caine.

It is the third and final book in the revivalist series. About a girl, Bryn who is innocently murdered but is living off a drug named as 'Returne' that keeps her alive and stops her body from decomposing, though she has to take every 24 hour shots which is a major problem!

I've been keeping up and have been waiting to get ahold of the final book to see how Bryn ends up! :)

  6. Hmm, I think I'd choose Pushing The Limits! It has an amazing storyline. Also, On The Island is just superb. Definitely two books to get lost in.

  7. The ULTIMATE summer read for me is always one of the Harry Potter books. Every summer I pick a random one and re-read it. I love being re-immersed in the world. And what better time to read about a magic school than when you're on a break from school/college/uni and you don't have to feel bitter about the fact that your Hogwarts letter obviously got lost in the post?

  8. The Summer I Turned Pretty by Jenny Han - still a great summer read even after all this time!

  21. There are SO many! I just depends on what mood I'm in. I love a great YA paranormal series like Cassandra Clare's or Julie Kagawa's, (and you can never go wrong with Harry Potter.;)

  23. I always start the summer with a stack of books that I have been wanting to read. Now that the time is available to read, I just devour those books. But the ultimate summer read is that one that gets put on the shelf to be read later. How do I know it is the book to be saved? Reading it makes the entire world around me go away. The stress of the day, the noises outside disappear and you do feel transported into the world of the characters. You just know.

  24. My ultimate summer read is Poison Study (and the rest of the chronicles of Ixia) by Maria V. Snyder. There's nothing like poison and love and Valek to read away the days.

  26. My ultimate summer read was The Lost World by Micheal Crichton. The reason is I was reading this book on a beach when my teenage son (who wouldn't read for pleasure) asked if he could read it too. we spent the week reading a page each out loud. Since then my son has become an avid reader. I will never forget the book that 'turned him on to reading' or the summer that it happened.

  27. In the Summer mu ultimate reads are usually books I've built up during term time without having the time to get into reading. 29. My ultimate Summer Read is Sundowners by Lesley Lokko. It's just epic and really gets to you - I have read it countless times in the past five years, usually during the summer.

And it's so long it takes all summer to read! It's perfect for reading whatever the weather - and in the UK that's a good thing as August or not I'm currently curled up in my onesie and a quilt reading.

But as to what I'm reading now, I read far too much so it could be any of a number of books which take my fancy over this last month of summer.
